昨天 ( 8/13/2009) 華爾街日報 ，標題是 Public Outcry Grows Over Taiwan Rescue Effort ( 民眾對政府救援的努力強烈抗議 )。
今天( 8/14/2009)的華爾街日報，標題是 Typhoon still spawns terror (颱風依然帶來恐怖）:
今天( 8/14/2009)，我們本地報紙的第一版提到台灣的颱風（綠框）。報社看到台灣的颱風慘況，大概是嚇呆了，旁邊就是用大篇幅報導十年前這裏的颱風救援舊事（紅框）！
台灣颱風的報導主文則放在第三頁 ，標題是 台灣尋求國際援助來救援風災 :
